Nicolai Copernici International Students Contest in Mathematics

On 14-17th November, 2017 students of IUHD participated Nicolai Copernici International Students Contest in Mathematics. Competition was Organized by AGH University of Science and Technology, Cracow, Poland. The official language of the competition was English.

The competition consists of two parts: individual and team contest for 5-person teams.

The competition was addressed to every student at any stage of the studies (undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate studies up to the third year), interested in mathematics.

In the individual part there were five problems in the following areas: mathematical analysis (with topology and set theory), functional equations (including differential equations), algebra and combinatorics, geometry and linear algebra, probability theory. The team part were consist of ten problems.

1st year student of International Economics and Management faculty Perman Iljanov won Third Prize

As member of  National Team of Turkmenistan participated also students from  Magtymguly Turkmen State University, Turkmen Agricultural Institute and  The State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan.
