International Student Team Competition in Mathematics (ISTCiM-2021)

International Student Team Competition in Mathematics was organized by the University of Silesia, Katowice (Poland) and Uppersilesian Branch of the Polish Mathematical Society, will take place from November 12th till November 14th 2021 at the Institute of Mathematics, Faculty of Science and Technology.

The competition official language is English.

The competition was held between Bachelor and Master students who interested in mathematics.

The Competition problems were in the following areas: Algebra and Combinatorics; mathematical analysis (with topology and set theory); functional equations (including differential equations); geometry and linear algebra; measure theory and probability theory.

In the Competition participated teams from Poland, Czech Republic, Russia, Bangladesh and Indonesia.

4th year students of International Economics and Management faculty Oguldondi Gulyyeva won First Prize and Gold medal.

3rd year student Information technology faculty Muhammetnur Bagbekov won First Prize and Gold medal.

Master student of International Economics and Management faculty Dovlet Rozyyev won Second Prize and Silver medal.

3rd year student of International Economics and Management faculty Aygul Begenjova won Second Prize and Silver medal.

3rd year student of International Economics and Management faculty Aymaral Yazmyradova won Second Prize and Silver medal.

3rd year student of International Economics and Management faculty Kuvvatmammet Hajyyev won Second Prize and Silver medal.

3rd year student of International Economics and Management faculty Akja Potdyyeva won Third Prize and Bronze medal.

2nd year student of International Economics and Management faculty Oguljan Yamatova won Third Prize and Bronze medal.

2nd year student of International Economics and Management faculty Lachyn Mammedova won Third Prize and Bronze medal.

2nd year student of International Economics and Management faculty Nadira Hudaybergenova won Third Prize and Bronze medal.

1st year student of International Economics and Management faculty Esenov Dovletmyrat won Third Prize and Bronze medal.

1st year student of International Economics and Management faculty Azymgeldi Shyhov won Third Prize and Bronze medal.

As member of National Team of Turkmenistan participated also students from Magtymguly Turkmen State University, Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of foreign affairs of Turkmenistan, Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan, Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after S.Seydi, Turkmen State institute of Architecture and Construction, Institute of Engineering-Technical and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan, Turkmen Agricultural Institute and The State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan.
