International Student Team Competition in Mathematics (ISTOCiM-2019)

On 8-10th November, 2019 students of IUHD participated International Students Team Competition in Mathematics. Competition was Organized by University of Silesia, Poland. The official language of the competition was English.

The competition consists of two parts: individual and team contest for 5-person teams.

The competition was addressed to every student at any stage of the studies (undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate studies up to the third year), interested in mathematics.

In the individual part there were five problems in the following areas: mathematical analysis (with topology and set theory), functional equations (including differential equations), algebra and combinatorics, geometry and linear algebra, probability theory. The team part were consist of ten problems.

3rd year student of International Economics and Management faculty Perman Iljanov and 1st year student MBA program Shahlo Hasanova won First Prize. 

As member of  National Team of Turkmenistan participated also students from  Magtymguly Turkmen State University, Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after S.Seydi, Turkmen State institute of Architecture and Construction, Turkmen Agricultural Institute and  The State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan.
