The International University of Humanities and Development was founded in 2014. It trains specialists in 14 fields of science: philosophy, sociology, international public law, international private law, international relations and world politics, journalism, international economics, international commerce, international finance, insurance, international management, computer technology, software and information and communication technologies.
It is the first institutions of higher education with the two-tier education system - bachelor and master degrees in Turkmenistan. Classes and lecturers at the International University are delivered in the English language
