The International University for the Humanities and Development (IUHD) celebrated remarkable success at the 2nd International Olympiad in Mathematics RUDN MATH OLYMP, held from November 27 to December 2, 2024, in Moscow, Russia. Organized by Patrice Lumumba Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, the competition attracted students from 12 countries, including teams from several prestigious higher education institutions in Turkmenistan.
The IUHD participants stood out with exceptional performances in both the individual and team categories, achieving top positions among hundreds of competitors.
In the Individual Olympiad, IUHD students achieved outstanding results, with two students winning the prestigious Gold Medal. Medine Odayeva and Azymgeldi Shyhov both achieved 1st place in their categories, demonstrating superior mathematical talent and problem-solving skills.
Additionally, Nurmyrat Atayev and Dovletmyrat Esenov earned Silver Medals, achieving 2nd place in their respective categories. The consistent excellence of IUHD students in this highly competitive arena reflects their strong academic foundation and dedication to mastering complex mathematical concepts.
This year’s Olympiad saw strong participation from 8 higher education institutions across Turkmenistan. The IUHD’s performance contributed to the overall success of Turkmenistan's higher education institutions, which garnered a total of 4 Gold Medals, 6 Silver Medals, and 7 Bronze Medals in the competition. In the Team Olympiad, the IUHD students won the 3rd place and a Bronze Medal.
The victory of IUHD students at the RUDN MATH OLYMP not only reflects the talent of the individuals involved but also highlights the university's commitment to providing a world-class education and preparing its students to compete and excel internationally.
