Visit of the Turkmen Delegation to UK

As part of the British Council's AELLCA programme, a delegation of Central Asian teachers, including Chemen Vekilova, an English teacher at the International University for the Humanities and Development, travelled to Norwich, UK, to gain additional qualifications, exchange experiences and gain in-depth knowledge of the English language and culture. This visit was an important milestone in the educational process, combining theoretical knowledge and practical skills, and strengthening international ties in the field of education. One of the key aspects of the programme was a visit to Nile (Norfolk International Language Experience), a renowned language school that actively collaborates with the AELLCA programme. At the school, the Central Asian teachers attended a series of intensive seminars and workshops aimed at familiarising them with the structure of education in England. In addition, special attention was paid to visits to local schools and educational institutions in Norwich. The Central Asian teachers had a unique opportunity to observe English lessons, as well as other school subjects. The visits to schools provided valuable insight into British teaching methods, approaches to organizing the learning process, and methods of working with students. During the meetings with British colleagues, various aspects of educational practice were discussed, including the inclusion of technology in the learning process, diversity of teaching methods, and inclusion.
