V Open Mathematical Olympiad for University Students (OMOUS-2025) Successfully Held at IUHD

The International University for the Humanities and Development proudly hosted the V Open Mathematical Olympiad for University Students (OMOUS-2025) from 13 to 18 April 2025, marking a vibrant celebration of academic excellence, cultural exchange, and international cooperation. This year's Olympiad brought together talented students from nine countries — Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Indonesia, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Romania, Poland, the United Arab Emirates, the Russian Federation, and India — to compete in the field of mathematics and demonstrate their problem-solving abilities on an international stage. The Olympiad was conducted in two categories, allowing students to showcase their mathematical talents across diverse levels of complexity. The rich program of OMOUS-2025 went beyond competition and offered participants an immersive cultural experience, including guided tours to Ancient Nusay, prominent museums, and the sightseeing landmarks of Ashgabat. A team of dedicated OMOUS volunteers from IUHD played a vital role in assisting foreign guests, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience throughout their stay. Their hospitality and support highlighted the spirit of Turkmen culture and the university’s commitment to fostering global friendships. OMOUS-2025 became one of the brightest highlights of the International Year of Peace and Trust, promoting the values of collaboration, mutual respect, and intellectual dialogue. As the tradition of the Olympiad continues, it not only advances academic excellence but also strengthens bridges between nations through education and cultural understanding. The International University for the Humanities and Development extends its heartfelt congratulations to all participants and expresses gratitude to partners, volunteers, and juries who made this international event a great success.
